North Grand corridor

As part of the North Grand Corridor Project, in partnership with Tabernacle Community Development Corporation, Steadfast City used in-person gatherings, virtual meetings, surveys, calls, texts and emails to gather qualitative data which informed the quantitative data gathered through on the ground or publicly available sources.

The combination of quantitative and qualitative data allowed Steadfast City to develop a key set of maps identifying development and redevelopment opportunities, and a subsequent sense of market demand which would not otherwise be feasible at such a granular level — ensuring equitable opportunities for an underserved community.

Steadfast City found that an aging housing stock combined with the quick lease and sale of recent developments, established government and community support, and planned future developments demonstrated market appetite and demand for development within the project area. This document now provides Tabernacle CDC and other organizations with a realistic vision for the geography and positions them to market this vision to investors and developers alike.
